Police: Batavia Traffic Stop Reveals A Man's DuPage County Warrant
Here's an item from the June 21 Batavia Police blotter.
A 20-year-old Warrenville man was taken back across county lines after police found out he was wanted, according to a report.
Antonio Huerta, of 2S563 Continental Dr., was apprehended at Kirk Road and Douglas Road for driving without a valid driver’s license, operating a vehicle with expired registration and operating a vehicle without insurance. He posted $300 bond, and was given a July 12 court date.
While in custody it was discovered that Huerta was wanted on a DuPage County Sherriff’s warrant for failure to appear in court. He was transported to DuPage County, where he posted an additional $300 bond. Huerta is scheduled to appear in court on that charge on July 19.
