UPDATED Police: Batavia Teen Caught With Drug Item in Naperville

The following police incidents involve Batavia residents or took place in Batavia on Feb. 21. Here they are in chronological order:

2:44 a.m.—Drug Paraphernalia

An 18-year-old Batavia man had a run-in with police in downtown Naperville.

Jarret Connor Clark, of the 700 block of Walnut Street, was arrested on the 300 block of East Chicago Avenue in Naperville.

Clark was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police. His bond was $120.

9:29 a.m.—Poss. of Cannabis Less Than 31g

A juvenile was taken into custody for possession of cannabis, less than 31 grams, at Batavia High School, 1201 Main St.

The juvenile was processed and released to a parent, according to a police report.

11:02 a.m.—Lost Property (Desk Report)

A lost drivers license was reported on the 200 block of South Prairie Street.

2:08 p.m.—Car Crash (Property Damage)

A driver from Aurora was involved in a crash in downtown Batavia.

The driver was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, according to a police report. The incident occurred at East Wilson Street and South Washington Avenue (Route 25).

3:53 p.m.—Disturbance

A "parent/child issue" was reported in downtown Batavia.

The incident occurred in the parking lot of a business on the 100 block of North Batavia Avenue, according to a police report. Further details were not provided.

3:49 p.m.—Retail Theft

Two items of perfume were taken from a business on Batavia's west side.

The incident occurred on Feb. 15 at a business on the 100 block of North Randall Road, according to a police report.

The perfumes are valued at $38 total. The offender or offenders are unknown.

4:09 p.m.—Retail Theft

Five items of perfume were taken from the same business referenced in the 3:49 p.m. incident.

The incident occurred on Feb. 17 at the business, located on the 100 block of North Randall Road, according to a police report.

The perfumes are valued at $104 total. The offender or offenders are unknown.

5:32 p.m.—Identity Theft (Desk Report)

An incident of identity theft was reported on Batavia's east side.

The incident occurred on the 400 block of Davis Road, according to a police report. The victim was issued an identity theft information packet.

6:47 p.m.—Threats (Desk Report)

A juvenile reported receiving threatening text messages on the east side.

The incident occurred on the 1300 block of Pine Street, according to a police report.

The juvenile was advised to contact the dean of his or her school.

10:05 p.m.—Domestic Trouble

Two subjects were involved in a domestic dispute on the west side.

The dispute was verbal only and all was resolved, according to a police report.

Feb. 22

12:40 a.m.—Car Crash: Property Damage

A car damaged part of business property in downtown Batavia.

An electrical box owned by the business was damaged. The incident occurred on the 0-99 block of North Water Street, according to a police report.
