Police: Batavia Rollover Accident Ends In DUI Citation

Here's an item from the June Batavia Police blotter.

A 23-year-old West Chicago man is headed to court after an incident that sent him to the hospital.

Roberto Sanchez, of 1000 S. Oak St., was involved in a rollover accident at Pierson Drive and Hubbard Avenue on June 18. After being transported to Delnor Hospital, he was issued a citation for driving under the influence of alcohol, and driving too fast for conditions, according to a police report.

Sanchez was given a notice to appear in court on July 20.
