Here's a round-up of recent, bizarre police report items from the area.

DOWNERS GROVE

Curse Words, Ammunition Thrown During Spat

George A. Brown, 51, of the 4100 block of Downers Drive, was charged Sept. 29 with aggravated assault. Three officers responded to the block at 6:58 p.m. for a report of two men arguing loudly.

The man that Brown was arguing with is the boyfriend of Brown's wife's friend, police said. The argument appeared to stem from a previous incident where Brown called the boyfriend's son a "dumb ass," according to a police report.

During the argument, the other man said Brown walked over to him holding a metal flashlight and threatened to kill him with it. Brown then walked backed into his house, came back out and continued the argument, the report said.

At this point Brown threw rounds of Remington .223 of ammunition at him, the man told police. Brown told the man "here's the bullets go kill yourself," according to the report. Read the full report.
