'Numerous Subjects' Charged With Underage Drinking; Other Charges for Cannabis, Obstructing Justice

In separate report, a 15-year-old girl is cited after consuming too much alcohol.

“Numerous juvenile subjects” were charged for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and other offenses around 6:16 p.m. Sept. 13 in the 400 block of North Avenue, Batavia police reports said.

The subjects were “at a party where alcohol was being served and cannabis was found,” reports said.

Among the charges were possession of drug paraphernalia, permitting persons under 21 to be served, possession of cannabis, illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, obstructing a police officer and unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor.

The juvenile subjects were taken into custody and their parents notified, reports said.

“Report to be completed,” the Batavia police blotter said.

15-Year-Old Girl Cited

A 15-year-old offender was transported home by two friends after she "had consumed too much alcohol at the home of a friend" in the 1100 block of First Street, according to a report filed at 6:23 p.m. Sept. 13. The girl was cited for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and was released to her parents with a court date of Oct. 8.
