Man Throws Beer Glass at Girlfriend and Other Domestic Battery Charges

Three domestic battery reports were filed in the Batavia Police Department Daily Report Synopsis, Media/Public Version during the early days of 2014.

 

63-Year-Old Batavia Man Charged


Batavia police arrested Anthony Markovich, 63, of Batavia on charges of domestic battery bodily harm and domestic battery physical contact in the 900 block of Lockwood Lane, according to a report filed at 5:54 p.m. Jan. 5. Markovich was transported to the Kane County Jail and was awaiting bond call when the report was filed.

 

Geneva Man Throws Beer at Pub


Batavia police arrested Joseph Pino, 40, of Geneva on charges of two counts of domestic battery, driving while license suspended and possession of a controlled substance after an incident at O’Brien’s Pub, 12 N. River St., reported at 8:20 p.m. Jan. 3. According to the daily report synopsis, a woman from Geneva reported that her boyfriend, Pino, threw a beer glass in her face, striking her above the right eye. The victim refused medical treatment, and Pino was transported to Kane County Jail for bond call.

 

Batavia 46-Year-Old Charged


Batavia police arrested John Lipp, 46, of Batavia on charges of domestic battery bodily harm and domestic battery physical contact in the 400 block of State Street, according to a report at 11:47 p.m. Jan. 1. Lipp was transported to the Kane County Jail and was awaiting bond call at the time of the report.
