Heirloom-Brand Sterling Silverware Taken From Batavia Home

Both of the following reports were under the heading of residential burglary, but neither incident involves a break-in. Police are continuing to investigate.

Heirloom-Brand Silverware Stolen 

Batavia police report the theft of about $500 worth of Heirloom-brand silverware from a home in the 1000 block of Danforth Drive, according to a report filed at 1:02 p.m. Nov. 28. Police said the burglary took place sometime between Nov. 25 and Nov. 28. There was no sign of forced entry, Batavia Det. Sgt. Shawn Mazza said.

Bicycle Taken From Garage

A bicycle was stolen from an open garage in the 100 block of North Malloy Street,  sometime between Nov. 26 and Nov. 27, Batavia police reports said. The Vilano road bike has an estimated value of $250.
