Group of Cars Gets Spray Painted on North VanNortwick
Batavia Blotter: Criminal damage to property reports include a weekend car-vandalism spree.
Batavia police reports showed a slew of vehicle painting going on Saturday, May 11, and it wasn't the kind you might pay for at your favorite auto body shop.
This was a spree of sorts on North VanNortwick, without a specific total amount of damage, although the cost could be a couple thousand dollars, based on the $500 repair estimate for one of the vehicles.
- Someone spray painted a vehicle parked in the 500 block of North Van Nortwick, according to a report filed around 6:28 a.m. May 11. The estimated cost of repairs was unknown at the time of the report.
- Someone spray painted a second vehicle parked in the in the 500 block of North Van Nortwick around 6:49 a.m. May 11, reports said. The estimated cost of repairs was unknown at the time of the report.
- A third victim reported to police that someone spray painted a vehicle parked in the in the 500 block of North Van Nortwick, according to a report filed around 8:16 a.m. May 11, reports said. The estimated cost of repairs was $500.
- A fourth victim reported criminal damage to property in the 500 block of North VanNortwick, according to a report filed around 7:35 p.m. May 11, reports said.
