ST. CHARLES

Oct. 20:

  • Amanda Marie Pomplin, 27, of the 200 block of South 18th Street, was charged at 1:19 a.m. in the 300 block of State Street with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08 and driving without lights when required. According to police, she has a blood-alcohol content of .144. She was released on her own recognizance after posting her driver’s license and was ordered to appear in court on Nov. 15.
  • Daniel L. DeNotto, 50, of the 200 block of Maple Lane, Geneva, was charged at 6:26 p.m. on the 200 block of West Main Street with DUI; DUI with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08; and driving too fast for conditions. Police arrested DeNotto after an accident at South 3rd and West Main streets. Police said his blood-alcohol content was .157. He was released after posting $100 cash bond and his driver’s license pending a court appearance.

  • Austin R. Bierman, 22, of the 33W100 block of Dunham Court, Wayne, was charged at 1:28 a.m. in the 400 block of North 5th Avenue, with DUI, DUI wth a blood-alcohol content greater than .08, and disobeying a traffic control device. According to a police report, his blood-alcohol content registered at .174. He posted $100 bond and his driver’s license and was released pending a court appearance.
  • Tyler E. Warden, 21, of the 42W200 block of Retreat Court, was charged at 11:41 p.m. on the 1500 block of West Main Street with DUI, DUI with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08, and speeding, 55 in a 30 mph zone. Police said his blood-alcohol level was .157. Police received a report of a car swerving and driving too fast through a construction zone on East Main Street. He was released on his own recognizance after posting his driver’s license and was ordered to appear in court Nov. 15. Police said the person who reported Warden’s vehicle has been nominated for a Drunkbuster Award through the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists.

Oct. 18: Michael Anthony Bosco, 46, of the 39W200 block of Meadowview Court, was charged at 11:46 p.m. at Randall and Crane roads with DUI/alcohol and speeding. 66 in a 45 mph zone. He was released with a notice of summary license suspension after posting $300 cash and his driver’s license pending a Nov. 15 court appearance.

GENEVA

Oct. 19: Geneva police arrested Frank Suda, 29, of St. Charles on charges of driving under the influence, DUI with a blood-alcohol content of more than .08, cannabis possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal transportation of alcohol after a traffic stop around 2:10 a.m. Oct. 19 in the 800 block of West State Street, reports said.

According to the complaint in the 16th Circuit Court, Suda had .8 grams of marijuana in his possession as well as a multicolored glass smoking pipe. He also was issued a warning notice for travelling 38 mph in a 30 mph zone. Suda has a court date of Nov. 7 at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles.
