Driver's DUI Arrest Leads to Passenger's Charges of Obstructing Police Officer
The following information was supplied by the Batavia Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Batavia police arrested Helen Rodas-Garcia, 29, of Batavia on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane change, according to a report filed at 10:22 p.m. Nov. 3.
She posted her driver’s license and has a court date of Nov. 20.
Also during the Rodas-Garcia arrest, police arrested Eric Calvillo, 41, of Batavia on charges of resisting or obstructing a police officer causing injury and two counts of resisting or obstructing a police officer.
He was transported to the Kane County Jail and was awaiting bond call at the time the report was filed.
