Criminal Damage in Batavia: Smashed Window, Egging, a Light Pole and Graffiti

Criminal damage to property reports collected July 22 from the Batavia Police Department show a smashed vehicle window, some egging and a couple of reports of graffiti at Fantastico's.


Smashed Window at Trader Joe's

Someone shattered the front passenger-side window of a vehicle parked at Trader Joe’s, 1942 Fabyan Parkway, according to a report filed at 11:16 a.m. July 21. Damage was estimated at $150.

City Light Pole Damaged

Someone damaged a city of Batavia light pole in front of Katrina Salon & Spa, 8 N. River St., according to a report filed at 1:17 p.m. July 19. There was no damage estimate at the time of the report.

American Graffiti

  • Someone used red spray paint to graffiti an AT&T cable box and sidewalk in the 1000 block of South Raddant Road sometime “overnight,” according to a report filed at 3:08 p.m. July 18, reports said. The city of Batavia is listed as the owner of the sidewalk.
  • Someone applied graffiti on Fantastico’s, 227 W. Wilson St., according to a report filed around 6:02 p.m. July 16. The estimated cost of repair is $100. A separate police report filed at 3:25 p.m. July 14 indicates someone used blue spray paint to graffiti at Fantastico’s. The cost to repair the damage was unknown at the time of the report.

 

Egg-Stream Makeover

Someone smashed eggs on the door of an apartment in the 1200 block of East Wilson Street, according to a report filed at 12:16 a.m. July 19, reports said.
