Cannabis Tales: Teens Charged for Paraphernalia in Jewel Parking Lot

Batavia police made two marijuana-related arrests in the week prior to Oct. 15, both of which involved drug paraphernalia charges.
Genevan Arrested at Jewel
Batavia police arrested Jasmine Carey, 18, of Batavia and Chloe Callahan, 19, of Geneva on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia in the parking lot of Jewel, 119 S. Randall Road, according to a report filed at 8:44 p.m. Oct. 14. No other information was available at the time the report.

Carol Stream Man Charged After Traffic Stop
Batavia police arrested Michael F. Pavone, 29, of Carol Stream on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding after a traffic stop reported at 12:57 a.m. Oct. 13. Pavone posted $150 and his driver’s license and was released with a court date of Nov. 19.
