Cannabis Tales: 3 From Geneva, 1 From Batavia and 1 from South Elgin
The following information was supplied by the Batavia and Geneva police departments. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Of five arrests on drug paraphernalia charges in Batavia and Geneva, three of the accused are from Geneva, one from Batavia and one from South Elgin. Two of the five were charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams of marijuana.

3 Charged With Drug Paraphernalia
- Batavia police arrested Joseph McGonagle, 26, of Batavia on charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia at 10:42 p.m. Sept. 15 at the intersection of North Batavia Avenue and West Wilson Street, reports said. McGonagle has a court date of Oct. 8, 2013.
- Batavia police arrested Kyle Ost, 25, of Geneva on charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams at the same time and place as McGonagle. He also has a court date of Oct. 8.
- Batavia police arrested Jeffrey Martens, 22, of Geneva on charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia grams at the same time and place as McGonagle. He also has a court date of Oct. 8.
GENEVA
19-Year-Old Charged
Geneva police arrested Diamante Moore, 19, of Geneva on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended or revoked license around 1:58 p.m. Sept. 1 in the 0-99 block of South Kirk Road, reports said. He has a court date of Oct. 1 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road.

GENEVA
Arrest in Parking Lot
Geneva police arrested Robert Quinn, 24, of South Elgin on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis in a parking lot in the 0-99 block of North River Lane around 12:15 a.m. Sept. 9, reports said. Quinn has a court date of Oct. 15 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.
