Batavian Charged With Cannabis Along With DUI

Geneva and Batavia driving-under-the-influence arrests include a Batavian charged with marijuana possession and an aggravated DUI charge for a St. Charles man who according to police records has never owned a driver's license.
BATAVIA
Cannabis, Illegal Transportation Charges
Batavia police arrested William Johnson, 21, of Batavia on charges of driving under the influence, unlawful possession of cannabis, illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle and no rear registration plate light in the 400 block of North Washington Street, according to a report filed at 12:04 a.m. Aug. 24. He posted $100 and was released with a court date of Sept. 25. Also at that time, John Peterson of Geneva was cited for unlawful possession of cannabis.

The officer activated a siren, and the vehicle continued driving for about three-quarters of a mile before pulling over.
Police conducted a driver’s license check and found Navarro-Contreras had never possessed a valid driver’s license. An assistant state’s attorney a felony charge for aggravated DUI.

DUI, Driving With Suspended License
Geneva police arrested Roman Garza, 35, of Geneva on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended or revoked license around 1:59 a.m. Aug. 24 in the 100 block of North Third Street, reports said. Garza was also issued a warning notice for driving with no lights when required. He has a court date of Oct. 2 at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles.

Woman Charged With More Than .08
Geneva police arrested Barbara Parkin, 35, of St. Charles on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol count of .08 or more, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and leaving the scene of vehicle damage after an accident around 2:03 a.m. Aug. 24 in the 1100 block of East State Street, reports said. Parkin has a court date of Oct. 2 at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles.

Driving Under Combined Influences
Geneva police arrested Donna Parker, 54, of Aurora on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI combined influence, driving with a suspended or revoked license and make an unsafe lane change around 6:58 p.m. Aug. 17 in the 1100 block of West State Street, reports said. She has a court date of Sept. 11 at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles.

Man Never Had a License: Police
Geneva police arrested Ramon Navarro-Contreras, 35, of St. Charles on charges of aggravated driving under the influence, no valid driver’s license, improper lane usage, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle around 1:37 a.m. Aug. 19 in the 1700 block of Seventh Avenue in St. Charles, reports said.
