Batavia Woman Arrested for Taking $5.50 in 'Ponytailers' From Claire's

A 32-year-old Batavia woman is headed to court after an incident in the Geneva Commons.

Geneva police arrested Catherine Grieves on charges of retail theft from Claire’s, 1534 Commons Drive, Geneva, at about 2:23 p.m. Jan. 7.

Grieves allegedly took a package of Younger Ponytails hair accessories from the store, according to a police report. The Ponytailers had a retail value of $5.50.

Grieves has a court date of Feb. 21 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.
