UPDATE: Accused Stabber Was Visitor, Not Renter at Batavia Apartments

The women involved in last week's Batavia stabbing do not live or rent a unit at Batavia Apartments, police said. Here are some new details about this incident.

The two women involved in a stabbing last week in Batavia do not actually live at the complex where the stabbing took place, police said.

Neither Cyrenthia Williams or the Aurora woman she attacked live at , said Glenn Autenrieth, a deputy chief.

"The apartment the incident took place in was rented by another individual," Autenrieth said in an e-mail.

Williams, 18, and the 26-year-old Aurora woman were in someone's apartment at the complex when , police said. Williams stabbed the Aurora woman with a knife in the back of her right shoulder, according to police.

Williams was jailed after the incident, but she posted bond and was .
