Batavia Police: Intoxicated Subject, Spray Paint, East-Side Fire

The following arrest information was supplied by the Batavia Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Batavia police officers responded to the following incidents in town on Nov. 5. Here they are in chronological order:

11:20 a.m.—Assist Other Agency

A police officer, along with the , responded to a report of a dumpster fire on the east side.

A large-size green dumpster was on fire outside the Cyberbond Adhesives building, 401 N. Raddant Rd. The cause of the fire was possibly chemical related, according to a police report.

The loss to the dumpster is about $2,000, the report said. The dumpster is property of Waste Management.

2:47 p.m.—Lost Property

A female resident from the city's east side stated that she lost her Illinois State ID.

The resident, of the 200 block of North Washington Avenue, said she lost the ID at some point in Batavia that day. She was unsure where in Batavia it was lost.

6:05 p.m.—Warrant Service

A 20-year-old Batavia resident was sent to morning bond call due to an outstanding warrant.

Wesley O Bell Considine, 461 Cleveland Ave., was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant for contributing to the delinquency of a child, according to a police report.

Considine had a $500 full cash bond, was processed and transported to a Kane County facility for morning bond call.

9:16 p.m.—Intoxicated Subject

A female victim was transported to a hospital after an incident with a drink.

The victim, of the 500 block of West Wilson Street, stated that a suspect offender poured her a drink containing Bailey's and some sort of banana liquor in a small glass, according to a police report.

The victim went upstairs, came back down and then had the drink. A short time later she started feeling dizzy and threw up.

The suspect offender then left the residence with the victim's Motorola phone, according to the report.

The victim drove herself to the Batavia Police Department, 100 N. Island Ave.

Batavia medics transported the victim to a hospital.

11:41 p.m.—Criminal Damage to Property

A man reported that some exterior parts of his east-side house got spray painted.

The victim stated that spray paint was on the front door, garage doors and front steps of his home, located on the 900 block of Lexington Avenue.

The responding officer walked around outside the house. He also noted the home's west side, south side and steps to his deck were also spray painted with metallic chrome paint.

Some areas were spray painted over six feet high, according to a police report.

The suspect or suspects were unknown at the time of this report.
