Batavia Police: Prairie Ridge Fan, Crystal Lake Resident End Up in Reports

Saturday's game brought some visitors into town. Here's what they did to get a mention in the police blotter.

Batavia Police reported two separate incidents on Saturday involving people from the Crystal Lake area.

At least one of the non-residents was likely in town for the semifinal playoff game at , 1201 Main St. The two incidents each occurred at a business on the 900 block of Main Street, according to reports.

A female victim states that she stopped in the parking lot of a business on Main Street. She stopped to change the letters on the sign out front to “GO PR” for her school beating Batavia in football, according to a police report.

A suspect offender came out of the business. Arguing and possible shoving occurred between all parties, according to the report.

All parties agreed not to pursue charges against each other.

3:56—Car Crash: Property Damage

A 17-year-old Crystal Lake woman hit a parked car next to her at a business on Main Street, according to a police report.

The woman, of the 400 block of Talismon Court, Crystal Lake, was backing out of a parking space in the parking lot of the business. The woman hit a vehicle owned by a Batavia man from the 400 block of Houston Street, according to the report.

A 17-year-old Crystal Lake woman and a 33-year-old man Crystal Lake man were listed as passengers in the vehicle Pahl drove.

The car was parked and unoccupied next to her. No citations were issued.
