Batavia Police: Domestic Battery, Domestic Trouble, Hit and Run

The following arrest information was supplied by the Batavia Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Batavia police officers responded to the following incidents in town on Nov. 19. Here they are in chronological order:

12:20 a.m.—Traffic Arrest

A 39-year-old Aurora resident is headed to court after an incident on Batavia's north-east side.

Elida Salazar, 808 Talma St., Aurora, was cited for no valid drivers license and driving with one headlamp, according to a police report. Salazar encountered police and North Kirk and Douglas roads.

Salazar posted $150 bond and was released with a court date of Dec. 20.

1:04 a.m.—Domestic Battery

A 25-year-old man was arrested for an incident of domestic battery on the city's east side.

Andres Munoz-Lopez, of the 400 block of North Washington Avenue, was arrested for domestic battery with bodily harm and domestic battery—insulting provoking/contact, according to a police report.

No further information was available on this incident.

6:36 a.m.—Car Crash: Property Damage

A car crash was reported at South Randall Road and Main Street. Further details are pending.

7:33 a.m.—Criminal Damage to Property

Three guide wires were intentionally cut by an unknown offender or offenders on the city's north side.

The wire were found cut on the 1400 block of Orion Road. No further information was available on this incident.

9:09 a.m.—Domestic Trouble

Two subjects were involved in a domestic incident downtown, according to a police report.

The incident occurred on the 0-99 block of North Batavia Avenue and was verbal only.
