Batavia Police: Dog Bite, Head-Butt, Custody Dispute

The following arrest information was supplied by the Batavia Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Batavia Police reported the following incidents in town on Sept. 25. Here they are in chronological order:

8:06 a.m.—Traffic Arrest

A 36-year-old Aurora man is headed to court after a run-in with police on Batavia's downtown bridge.

Victor M. Gutierrez, 1043 Front St., Aurora, was cited for speeding and no valid drivers license on the Donovan Bridge near 1 E. Wilson St.

Gutierrez posted $150 bond. He was released with a court date of Oct. 18.

8:57 a.m.—Dog Bite

Two dogs were involved in a fight on the 100 block of Spring Street.

One dog went away from the scene with a torn left ear and red eye, according to a police report.

No further action is being pursued at this time.

6:43 p.m.—Traffic Arrest

A 37-year-old Aurora woman is headed to court after a run-in with police on the city's west side.

Samantha L. Galloway, 1997 Tall Oaks Dr. #1A, was cited for driving while license suspended on the 500 block of North Randall Road.

Galloway was also issued a warning ticket for an expired registration sticker.

Galloway was issued a $1,500 I-bond. She was released with a court date of Oct. 11.

7:36 p.m.—Battery

Two subjects were involved in an incident of battery on the 0-99 block of North Water Street.

One subject head-butted the other subject, according to a police report.

There was a large laceration on top of the victim's head, and a possible chipped tooth.

The victim left prior to the responding officer's arrival.

Police were unable to locate the victim.

11:31 p.m.—Child Custody Dispute

Two subjects were involved in a custody dispute on the 500 block of East Wilson Street.
