Batavia Police Arrest Geneva Woman for Controlled Substances in Steak 'n Shake Parking Lot

The following information was supplied by the Batavia Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Two arrests on charges of between 2.5 and 10 grams of marijuana plus an arrest for possession of a controlled substance were part of this week's Batavia police blotter.

Possession of Controlled Substance—Batavia police arrested Tanya Gregoire, 24, of Geneva on charges of possession of a controlled substance around 10:31 p.m. May 15 at the Steak 'n Shake parking lot, 1901 McKee St., reports said. The report describes the controlled substance as “other drug, any amount.” Gregoire was transported to the Kane County Jail.

Possession of Cannabis, Drug Paraphernalia—Batavia police arrested Carter Myers, 19, of Batavia on charges of possession of cannabis between 2.5 and 10 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia around 9:51 p.m. May 13 in the 600 block of South Batavia Avenue, reports said. He also was issued a warning citation for no front plate displayed. He has a court date of June 11.

Possession of Cannabis—Batavia police arrested Tonya McBride, 43, of Homewood on charges of possession of between 2.5 and 10 grams of marijuana after a traffic stop around 3:47 p.m. May 12, reports said. McBride was issued a warning citation for speeding and has a court date of June 11.
