Batavia Man Gets Police House Call After Missing Court
Here's an item from the July 1 Batavia Police blotter.
A 32-year-old Batavia man ended up behind bars after missing a court date on a previous charge, according to police.
Fabyan L. Silva, of 1251 E. Wilson St., #312, was apprehended on July 1 at his home on a Batavia Police Department warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Silva was unable to post 10 percent of his set $10,000 bond, and was transported to Kane County Jail.
