Batavia Blotter: Virginia Man Charged With Battery at Food Pantry

Virginia Man Charged With Battery After Incident at Batavia Pantry

Batavia police arrested Terrance Purnell, 32, of Woodridge, VA, on charges of battery after a dispute at the Batavia Pantry, 9929 E. Wilson St., according to a report filed around 7:05 p.m. July 6. Reports said a verbal dispute turned physical when the victim, who also is from Woodbridge, VA, was struck in the back of the head. Purnell was transported to the Kane County Jail for morning bond call, reports said.

Battery at Tribella's

A battery was reported at 9:39 a.m. July 7 at Tribella Bar & Grill, 1900 Mill St., Batavia police reports said. Two subjects were involved, and there is “no further info at this time,” reports said.
