Batavia Blotter: Consumption of Alcohol by Minors

Batavia police reports collected July 22 show two incidents of consumption of alcohol by minors, one with an incomplete report, the other as a warrant service arrest.
Unnamed Minors Stopped on Newton Avenue
Batavia police reported consumption of alcohol by minors around 4:37 a.m. July 20 in the 1200 block of Newton Avenue, but the report was incomplete and did not include names, ages or any information about the incident.
Warrant Followed Through After 21st Birthday
Batavia police arrested Benjamin Johnston, 21, of Batavia on a warrant for consumption of alcohol by a minor around 2:34 a.m. July 17. Johnston was unable to post the $500 bond and was transported to Kane County Jail, reports said.
