Batavia 19-Year-Old Charged With Delivery of Cannabis

The following information was supplied by the Batavia Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Batavia police reports included the following marijuana-related arrests:

Delivery of Cannabis More than 30 Grams—Batavia police arrested Michael Lucia, 19, of Batavia on charges of delivering more than 30 but less than 500 grams of cannabis and possession of the same amount. The arrest was made in the 0-99 block of North Randall Road, according to a report filed at 11:44 p.m. June 26. Lucia was transported to Kane County Jail.

Possession of Cannabis—Batavia police arrested David Charipar, 18, of Batavia on charges of possession of cannabis around 6:17 p.m. June 21 at Elm Street and Batavia Avenue, reports said. He was found to have two vials of green leafy substance field tested as marijuana. He also was issued a warning notice for failure to stop at a stop sign. He has a court date of July 9.
