Employees at 3 Restaurants Cited for Serving Underage Patrons During Swedish Days

Three downtown restaurant employees were cited for serving alcohol to a minor during Swedish Days in Geneva.
According to Geneva police reports, all three citations were issued between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Friday, June 21. The violations took place at EvenFlow Music & Spirits, Sergio's Cantina and Fiora's restaurant.
EvenFlow had received a one-day suspension and $1,000 fine after a hearing before Liquor Commissioner Kevin Burns in December.

Liquor Act Violation, Sale to a Minor—Geneva police cited Wilson Urteaga, 38 of Aurora for unlawful sale of alcohol to a minor around 8:10 p.m. June 21 at 302 West State St., reports said. The citation carries a fine of $250 if paid by its due date.
Liquor Act Violation, Sale to a Minor—Geneva police cited Kristen Real, 27, of St. Charles for unlawful sale of alcohol to a minor around 8:55 p.m. June 21 at 30 West State St., reports said. The citation carries a fine of $250 if paid by its due date.

Liquor Act Violation, Sale to a Minor—Geneva police cited Wallace Luyten, 37, of South Elgin for unlawful sale of alcohol to a minor around 7:52 p.m. June 21 at 317 S. Third St., reports said. The citation carries a fine of $250 if paid by its due date.
