Away From the Manger II — Another Baby Jesus Stolen

A second report of a baby Jesus being removed from a holiday Nativity is reported to Batavia police.

If this were a movie, the title might be "Away From the Manger II."

A baby Jesus Christmas decoration was stolen from a home in the 500 block of South Forest Avenue, according to a Batavia police report filed at 8:45 p.m. Dec. 22. The value of the baby Jesus decoration was in the category of theft under $500.

It is the second baby Jesus decoration reported stolen this holiday season. The other reported theft was from the yard of a home in the 300 block of Douglas Road. That report was filed Dec. 5.

Also reported on Dec. 5 was a Snoopy Santa Christmas decoration and custom plywood base from a residence in the 1400 block of Lundburg Avenue.
