5 Car Burglaries Reported Oct. 21 in Batavia

Burglaries most likely happened between 10 p.m. Oct. 20 and 5 a.m. Oct. 21.

Batavia police reported five vehicle burglaries during the overnight period of Sunday, Oct. 20, to Monday, Oct. 21. The burglaries happened in neighborhoods on both the East Side and West Side of Batavia. Three of the burglaries were in the in the 900 block of Orchard Court. 

  • Someone took two items valued at $202 from a vehicle parked in the 2300 block of Kane Lane, according to a report filed at 7:27 a.m. Oct. 21. No additional information was provided.
  • About $10 in change was taken from a vehicle parked in the 900 block of Orchard Court, according to a report filed at 7:52 a.m. Oct. 21. The vehicle theft took place sometime overnight, reports said.
  • Someone took various items valued at $171 from a vehicle parked in the 2400 block of Bird Lane, according to a report filed at 3:04 p.m. Oct 21. The burglary took place sometime between 11:30 p.m. Oct. 20 and 6 a.m. Oct. 21, reports said.
  • Someone took various items with a total value of about $300 from a vehicle parked in the 900 block of Orchard Court sometime between 10 p.m. Oct. 20 and 7 a.m. Oct. 21, reports said. The report was filed at 6:59 p.m. Oct. 21.
  • Someone took a cell phone, cologne, wallet and money with a total value of about $340 from a vehicle parked in the 900 block of Orchard Court sometime between 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20 and 5 a.m. Oct. 21, reports said. The report was filed at 11:07 p.m. Oct. 21.
