3 Plead Guilty to Batavia Residential Burglaries

The residential burglaries took place in the 900 to 1200 blocks of Woodland Hills Drive and the 1600 block of Wagner Road between Aug. 5 and Aug. 14, 2013.

Remember the spate of residential burglaries last summer and the Batavia Police Department's quick arrest of four in connection with those burglaries?

Three of the four pleaded guilty and a fourth has a court date of Jan. 22, according to an article in the Daily Herald.

The four persons were charged with residential burglaries in the 900 to 1200 blocks of Woodland Hills Drive and the 1600 block of Wagner Road between Aug. 5 and Aug. 14, 2013:

  • Terrell Jones-Bradley, 21, of Batavia, was charged with two counts of residential burglary, one count of attempted residential burglary and two counts of unlawful use of a credit card. He pleaded guilty in late December to felony burglary and was sentenced to the minimum four years in prison, the Daily Herald reported. Under the plea deal, Jones-Bradley will pay fines and restitution in the amount of $1,840.
  • Gregory Jordan Jr., 26, of Batavia, was charged with two counts of unlawful use of a credit card. Moore got 18 months probation after he pleaded guilty in September to felony possession of a stolen credit card.
  • Sharonda Y. Moore, 22, of Batavia, was charged with one count of possession of stolen property. Moore applied for the county's deferred prosecution program. Under that program, the case will be dismissed if Moore has no further arrests in the next year, the Daily Herald said.
  • Curtis A. Hobbs, 23, of Aurora, was charged with two counts of unlawful use of a credit card. According to the Daily Herald, Hobbs' case was continued to Jan. 22.

Judge Karen Simpson presided.
