200 Cartons of Cigarettes Taken From Batavia Pantry; Dunkin Donuts Window Shattered
A burglary and possible burglary attempt at local businesses keep Batavia police busy this holiday season.
Some burglars apparently really wanted a smoke or a doughnut to celebrate the holiday season.
Two incidents categorized as burglaries in Batavia police reports this week included the theft of more than 200 cartons of cigarettes from Batavia Pantry and a glass door shattered at Dunkin Donuts.
Cigarettes, Laptop Stolen
Batavia police reported a burglary at 2:24 a.m. Dec. 14 at Batavia Pantry, 929 E. Wilson St. An unknown offender entered the business and removed a laptop and about 200 cartons of cigarettes. The victim will provide a complete list of missing items.

Shattering, Early-Morning Doughnut Run
Someone shattered the glass door of Dunkin Donuts, 2002 W. Wilson St., according to a report filed at 5:51 a.m. Dec. 10. Nothing was taken, and there was no estimate regarding the cost to repair the damage.
