2 Women Charged With Taking Jewelry From Kohl's

Retail theft reports. The following information was supplied by the Batavia Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Batavia police reports for the week prior to Nov. 11 indicated three arrests on charges of retail theft.

2 Charged With Taking Jewelry

Two females were seen taking assorted jewelry items valued at $266 from Kohl’s, 251 N. Randall Road, according to a report filed at 7:40 p.m. Nov. 9. Batavia police arrested Amaehia Johnson, 21, of Aurora and Magalay Foster, 48, of the same address on charges of retail theft. Each woman posted $150. They were released with a court date of Dec. 10.

Internet Tablets Taken From Kohl's

Unknown offenders took three Polaroid Internet tablets valued at $700 from Kohl’s Department Store, 251 N. Randall Road, according to a report filed at 10:15 a.m. Nov. 8.

Marengo Woman Charged in Walgreens Theft

Batavia police arrested Victoria Solis, 50, of Marengo on charges of retail theft at Walgreens, 1918 W. Fabyan Parkway, according to a report filed at 8:42 p.m. Nov. 7. Solis has a court date of Dec. 10. The report does not say what items were stolen or what their value might be.
