3 Reports: Five Get Into Fight; Battery, Domestic Battery Charges

The following information was supplied by the Batavia Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Batavia police made arrests in separate cases of battery and domestic battery and reported a third battery incident involving a five-person fight where there were injuries but no charges.

 

Fight in 1200 Block of East Wilson

Five subjects were involved in a fight in the 1200 block of East Wilson Street, according to a report filed at 3::22 p.m. Nov. 7. There were minor injuries, but all denied medical treatment and agreed to refrain from contacting each other. No complaints were signed.

Violation of Bail Tacked Onto Battery Charge

Batavia police arrested Jason Heuser, 28, of Batavia on charges of battery and criminal damage to property less than $300. The arrest was made in the 700 block of Park Street, according to a report filed at 3:05 p.m. Nov. 7. Heuser has a court date of Dec. 10. At 8:02 p.m. Heuser was arrested on charges of violation of bail bond for a Class A misdemeanor and disorderly conduct. He was transported to the Kane County Jail and was awaiting bond call at the time of the report.

Chicago Man Charged With Domestic Battery 

Batavia police arrested Lashawntel Mackay, 28, of Chicago on charges of domestic battery bodily harm and domestic battery physical contact in the 1100 block of East Wilson Street, according to a report filed at 9:47 p.m. Nov. 6. He was transported to the Kane County Jail and was awaiting bond call at the time of the report.
