2 Charged, 1 for Felony With Intent to Deliver Cannabis, in Full Moon Parking Lot

The following information was supplied by the Batavia Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

One Aurora man was charged with possession of cannabis an obstructing a police officer and another was charged with felony possession of cannabis with intent to deliver after a bar check at the Full Moon Bar, 113 S. Batavia Ave., according to a Batavia police report filed at 12:25 a.m. Nov. 22.

According to reports, officers noted suspicious activity in the parking lot, including a vehicle with a strong odor or burnt cannabis. A  vehicle search uncovered a green substance believed to be cannabis and a scale.

The driver of the vehicle, Erik Pruneda, 22, of Aurora provided officers with a false name, the report said. Police determined that Pruneda was wanted on an Aurora warrant for theft charges. Pruneda was charged with possession of cannabis and obstructing a police officer.

A passenger in the vehicle, Frank Ayala, 25, of Aurora was charged with felony possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and misdemeanor possession of cannabis. Both men were transported to Kane County Jail for morning bond call at the time of the report.
