• Turns Out Toni Braxton Ain't Broke, Buys $3M House
  Just because R&B singer/songwriter turned reality t.v. denizen Toni Braxton has filed for bankruptcy twice—first in 1998 and again in 2011—does not, apparently, mean the six time Grammy-winning lady does not still have the dough-re-mi to spend, as was reported by TMZ, somewhere around three million clams for a spacious and luxuriously appointed if perfectly ordinary semi-custom tract house in suburban Los Angeles.
• John Mayer Sells Manhattan Bachelor Pad for $3.9M
  Mayer’s 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment at 255 Lafayette St., New York. NY 10012, located in the section of downtown Manhattan between Little Italy and Soho, sold for $3.9 million.
• Jay Z’s Former Crib at 560 State Street Hits Brooklyn Market
  It doesn’t look like much, but add the right soundtrack to this modest Brooklyn apartment and the joint gets really pumping.  The 1900-era apartment building itself underwent a rehab in 2005, when this unit first sold for $598,014. But the 1,000-square-foot unit has come back on the market with a list price of $870,000.
