Lacrosse Coach, St. Charles North Grad Dies
Mathew Huffman died of a traumatic head injury after a skateboarding accident on Friday. He was 20.
A 20-year-old St. Charles North High School grad who worked as an assistant lacrosse coach for the combined St. Charles North and East teams has died.
Mathew Shane Huffman passed away Friday after a skateboarding accident in which he suffered a major head injury, according to the Daily Herald.
St. Charles Community Unit School said Wednesday that Student Support Team members are available to any students who need assistance.

A page set up in Huffman's honor at GoFundMe.com has raised more than $10,000. The family asks that memorials be made to the Brain Injury Association of America.
A celebration of Huffman's life is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday at , according to his obituary.
