Louise White School Among Many to Veterans Nov. 11
New this year, the school is hosting a light breakfast for all veterans and their family members as a further way to thank them.
Like other schools in District 101 and throughout the area, Louise White Elementary School will honor veterans with a breakfast and special event at the school, 800 N. Prairie St., Batavia.
On Monday, Nov. 11, LWS will host its third annual Veterans Day Assembly.
New this year, the school is hosting a light breakfast for all veterans and their family members as a further way to thank them. Parents and relatives of students are invited to the 9:30 a.m. breakfast in the Commons area, followed by the assembly at 10:30 a.m. in the gym.
If you would like to show your support for veterans, please wear red, white and blue and your wrist bands, if you purchased one, to the school on Monday.
