Louise White School Helps in Batavia Toy Drive

For those who wish to give gift cards or money to the drive, those donations can be dropped off at the Batavia Police Department at 100 N. Island Avenue in Batavia.

Louise White School is participating in the Batavia Access Toy Drive, which benefits other Batavia children in the community ages newborn to 16 years of age. The program has been ongoing for at least 20 years and its sole purpose is to help others in the community.

Organizers are asking Louise White students and community members to bring new items that they wish to donate to the program between Dec. 2 and Dec. 13. The need is for toys, sports gear, stuffed animals, puzzles, games books and stocking stuffers. The items should be unwrapped. As a general guideline, it is suggested that each child donate something that he or she would like to receive or give. That helps provide a wider variety of items for the range of ages served. There will be a collection box at the school during that time period either in the office or in the learning center.

This is one of many toy drives you hear of at this time of year. It is possible to serve more than 600 children who live and go to school right in Batavia because of your generosity.
