About me

Hola! My name is Erin Jacobsen and for the next year I will have the luxury of being a rotary exchange student in La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have this amazing opportunity thanks to District 6440 of Chicago, Illinois. I will be leaving all my amazing friends here in Batavia, Illinois for the chance of a life time, to be culturally immersed, to become fluent in spanish, to make new life long friends, to see things from a different point of view and of course to have fun! I will be spending my junior year of high school in La Plata! I am so grateful to have the opportunity to travel abroad at such a young age, after having my departure date pushed back I should be leaving the 6th of September! I will post more once I finally get to my new home!
