- EVERY DAY in the US 100 people die from a drug overdose.
- In Illinois, more people die from accidental drug overdoses than motor vehicle crashes.
- Opiate overdose is REVERSIBLE; thousands of lives are saved each year from the existence of 911 Good Samaritan Laws and the use of the opiate overdose antidote, Naloxone/narcan.
