NAMI DKK Coffee: Supporting Mental Health With Acupuncture And Nutrition

February NAMI DKK Coffee Will Be Hosted by Integrated Natural Medicine in Geneva.

Licensed Acupuncturist, Elizabeth Spicher and Dr. Eric Spicher, D.C. will discuss the benefits of combining Acupuncture and Nutrition as supportive treatments for mental wellness in children, adolescents and adults.

Topics will include:

  • biochemical and neurological effects of Acupuncture including Eastern theories of blocked Qi (chee)
  • how correcting Nutritional deficiencies can play a role in better mental health and sleep.
  • One volunteer will be able to experience an Acupuncture treatment at the forum.

NAMI DKK (National Alliance on Mental Illness-DeKalb, Kane South & Kendall Counties) is an affiliate of the national grassroots organization (NAMI) consisting of family members and persons living with mental illness.
