Yoga For Anxiety: Reduce Your Holiday Angst

What can we do about the tension, restlessness and agitation that arise in our lives? How can we cope in these anxious times? Cultivate balance, clarity, and connection with the therapeutic techniques of yoga. Join senior teacher Tricia Fiske for a healing, all ages and levels night of yoga practice and lecture.

During this class we will


* Decrease muscular tension and soothe disturbed breathing
* Improve mood with chanting, gesture, and mantra
* Cultivate self-awareness and affect mind patterns using sanklapa (resolution), svadhyaya (self-study), and meditation

Tricia Fiske, BA, 500E-RYT, is one of the first Level II Certified ParaYoga® Instructors. Tricia has been a student of yoga since 1997, began teaching in 1999, and has been studying exclusively with ParaYoga® founder Rod Stryker since 2000. Tricia mentors yoga teachers and conducts workshops throughout the Chicagoland area.
