Waterline Writers Reading Event

On Sunday, November 18th at 7 PM, Waterline Writers invites you to hear Barbara Barrows, who will take us deep into the heart of November; Troupe Strozzi, a talented group of actors who proudly own up to being the garage band of theatre; Donna Pucciani, whose poetry mines the hidden wealth of every subject it touches; Mike Richards, with a new generation’s retelling of the hero’s epic journey; and Patrick Shannon, who’s forsaken the subject of Spam, but returned with an inimitable tale of a dangerous obsession with relics.

This ain't your Momma's book club. Waterline Writers has created a gem of an event for lovers of literature who are eager to discover the best of local writing talent. On the third Sunday of each month at 7 pm in the gorgeous Water Street Studios gallery (160 S. Water St., Batavia, IL 60510), talented published and not-yet-published writers are selected by Waterline Writers to read their work in this free public event. Authors run the gamut of literary styles and genres with readings ranging from novel excerpts, short stories, poetry, plays, lyrics, screenplays, spoken word, experimental and multimedia work. Refreshments are provided.
