Waterline Writers Presents Dark Matters: What We're Really Afraid Of

Do you love literature, poetry, drama? If so, come to the Waterline Writers event on October 21st. Our presentation this month: Dark Matters: What We're Really Afraid Of.

Come early to see Drawn With Words--22 paintings inspired by 22 very short stories! Doors open at 5 PM; readings begin at 7 PM.

Multi-faceted D.C. Brod will unearth a chilling passage from her cerebral Arthurian mystery Heartstone, Cecelia Downs brings Ireland's epic famine dangerously back to life, Rebecca Hanna reveals her kidnapping story "I Know What I Saw" for the very first time, Tom Heneghan mines a wealth of poetry that tiptoes close and closer to the edge, Kevin Moriarity flirts with the woman we're all afraid of, and Anne Veague reads "Driscoll Page", her character study of our propensity for destroying our own lives.

On the Third Sunday of each month, starting at 7 PM, Waterline Writers presents writers, poets, storytellers, screenwriters, spoken word artists, playwrights, songwriters, and comedians reading from their novels, short stories, poetry, plays, lyrics, screenplays, spoken word, experimental work, multi-media work, stand-up comedy, etc.

Waterline Writers is committed to providing a place where talented published and not-yet-published writers can share their work, as well as meet and support other writers and fans of the written word.
