DuPage Veterans Foundation's 3rd Annual Fundraiser for Honor Flight Chicago

On Saturday, May 3, 2014 the DuPage Veterans Foundation will host their 3rd annual event honoring our WWII and Korean War Era Veteran heroes at the DuPage Airport, while raising funds for Honor Flight Chicago.  A moving patriotic program, complete with bagpipers, color guard, a military band, and more, will pay proper tribute to each branch of our military.  Lunch is included in the price of admission along with some nostalgic entertainment from the "Legacy Girls" who will be back to perform WWII era music as well as the Naperville Big Band.  Come view a large variety of period military vehicles, aircraft, and memorabilia on display.  The silent auction will have many offerings from local businesses who have really stepped up to support the event, especially Pilots David Hall and Pat Brady who have offered to the auction flights in their beautifully restored WWII aircraft!  There will also be a split the pot drawing.  We are happy to welcome WGN's Steve Sanders back as emcee of our event!

Please join us for lunch with our WWII and Korean War Era Veteran heroes in a show of appreciation for their service to our Country.  This is a unique occasion to hear the amazing stories and shake their hands in gratitude!
