Come out and help clean up your river!
Friends of the Fox River (FOFR), in conjunction with the city of Batavia, is sponsoring a clean-up along the Fox River in Batavia. Meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Blackard Skate & Bike Park, 411 S. River St. Batavia.
The cleanup will be held until noon.
FOFR encourages everyone to bring their own garbage bags and gloves. Don’t worry, if you forget, there will be extras. Sturdy shoes and
sunscreen are recommended. Snacks and water will be provided.
All participants must sign a waiver, and volunteers under 18 will
