UPDATE: Another Wind Chill Advisory, This One Until Thursday Morning

Wind chill values will range between 20 to 30 degrees below zero through 10 a.m. Thursday morning. Then the arctic air will give way this weekend to a warming period.

We've got another wind chill advisory on our hands, and this one ends at 10 a.m. Thursday morning.

Wind chill values will range between 20 to 30 degrees below zero, according to the National Weather Service. A previous wind chill advisory ended at noon Wednesday.

In these conditions frostbite might develop in 30 minutes or less on exposed skin. Hypothermia will set in if proper action is not taken, according to the weather service.

Please wear a hat, gloves and do not leave your pets outside.

Our region will remain frigid until the weekend, when a warming period will hit the area with temperatures in the upper 30s on Sunday.

The Cold In Detail

Arctic air will be here throughout the day and evening. Thursday's high temperatures will be between 11 and 15 degrees with wind chills of 20 to 25 degrees below zero. Wind chill values will be zero to 10 below zero in the evening and actual lows will be between 5 and 9 degrees.

Warm Weekend

The actual temps on Friday will rise to the upper 20s. Saturday's forecast calls for temperatures in the lower 30s and Sunday might reach the upper 30s. This warming period might also lead to runoff and ice jam flooding.
