80-Degree Temps Today, Stormy Weather Still Expected Tonight

Some thunderstorms may be severe in the evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Weather tracking systems still predict a sunny and then stormy Sunday for our area.

We are supposed to have highs in the upper 80s (yes, 80s) today. South winds will blow between 20 to 30 mph with gusts of up to 40 mph at times.

Tonight is a different story. Expect showers and thunderstorms, some of which will be severe. The low will rest at about 50 degrees and the wind gusts will drop to 30 mph.

A chance of rain lingers on Monday with highs in the mid 50s. Wind gusts will be up to 35 mph.
