Police: Batavia Woman Nabbed on Burglary Warrant
Here's an item from the April Batavia Police blotter.
A 20-year-old Batavia woman received a visit from police after officers acted on a warrant.
Elizabeth J. Chiplis, of 437 N. Prairie St., was apprehended at her home on an outstanding warrant from DeKalb County for residential burglary.
Chiplis was unable to post 10 percent of her $75,000 set bond. She was currently awaiting a bond call at the time of this report.
