Light Snow Turns to Rain, Thunderstorms This Weekend

The chance for snowfall is slim, but then it's all going to turn to old-fashioned rain drops by Sunday.

We're getting a dusting of snow here and there, but expect it to change over to rain on Sunday.

Friday has a light chance of snow with highs in the lower 30s. Evening temperatures will settle in the lower 20s.

Light snow may fall on Saturday, but anything that falls will be less than 2 inches. The chance for precipitation in Kane County on Saturday is 60 percent, according to the National Weather Service. Once again, the evening will have temps in the low 20s.

Sunday has the best temps of the week with highs around 40. There's a 30 percent chance of rain in the afternoon. That chance picks up to 70 percent on Sunday night, along with isolated thunderstorms.
