Frost Advisory Issued For Early Wednesday Morning

April showers apparently bring a threat to May flowers, at least for this week.

The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory that remains in effect until 8 a.m. today, Wednesday May 4.

Temperatures will drop into the lower-to-mid 30s over portions of northern Illinois. Areas of frost will start to form as skies clear and winds go light.

The lakefront and downtown Chicago will likely avoid the frost as temperatures there will actually stay warmer than the 'burbs.
